Administrative Assistant
Location: 211 S Columbus Avenue-MT Vernon
10 Hours Per Week-Monday thru Friday
Part Time - 6pm-8:30pm
General Purpose
To provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the car wash.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
- answering phone calls
- taking and distributing messages
- organizing
- handling emails from customers
- reviewing files and records to answer requests for information
- checking and distributing documents and correspondence
- receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail
- maintaining e-filing systems
- compiling records of office activities
- photocopying, scanning and faxing
- sending emails
- checking and entering data
- updating and maintaining databases
- controlling basic accounting functions such as checking invoices and making deposits
- monitoring and ordering inventory of office supplies
- keeping office area neat and tidy
Education and Experience
- knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office
- proficient in use of email and internet
- good numeracy skills
- accurate keyboard skills
- knowledge of administrative procedures
- knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- high school diploma or equivalent

Compensation: $ 20 hr
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks

- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
