Car Wash Membership Sales Manager & Lead Sales Associate


Job Description
Membership Sales Manager is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales goals, renewals and ancillary service sales goals by pre-planning the month with strategic outreach and seeking membership referrals. Under the management of a General Manager, the support of a Regional Operations Managers and a sales team of 4-5 individuals, Membership Sales Manager is our Lead Sales Associate & must be on the property selling to customer, five days a week, displaying a comprehensive knowledge of all Car Wash’s services, programs, and products. Sales Manager must keep current in knowledge of key competitors by staying abreast of trends and “shopping” competitors to compare facilities and sales trends. Above all, the Sales Manager must have the ability to build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order to build a strong referral base and retain members.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Provides continuous sales support, education and training to all Car Wash Associates
• Provides leadership through expertise in sales
• Relationship building and Personal experience will play key roles in selling our brand

RESPONSIBILITIES
• As lead sales associate, must be on property, five days per week, selling to customers & totally responsible for selling Car Wash Memberships and ancillary Car Wash Service Packages
• Prospect new business and clients
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, renewals and ancillary service Sales goals
• Conduct pre-planning activities each month including strategic outreach, for securing member referrals 
• Build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members
• Under the leadership of a General Manager, the support of a team of Regional Operations Managers and a on-site team of Customer Service Associates (CSA), Sales Manager must display a comprehensive knowledge of all of the Car Wash’s services, programs, and products.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Achieve Monthly goals mutually agreed upon by GM and CW Membership Sales Manager
• Keep CSAs motivated and well-educated through daily/weekly/monthly sales meetings
• Provide all stats and reporting to GM on a timely basis
• Ensure each prospect/every sale is sourced appropriately, and tracked for all CSAs
• Work together as a TEAM with all CW associates

RETENTION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maximize retention and maintain an attrition rate below 30%
• Call new & recurring members regularly to determine satisfaction
• Be responsive to member feedback – follow-up with 24 hours as needed

• Previous sales experience
• Passionately Customer Driven
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Confidence to perform on a base + incentive based compensation
• Excellent verbal communication and relationship building skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
• Personal passion for cars
• Enjoy working within a team
• Strong time management skills and practices
