We started out in 1963 and now own/operate 24 carwashes throughout the United States.  We are looking for the right person for a fun, family friendly, fast paced and challenging position.

Current managing partners began with one location with no investment

Operating a carwash is not an easy job. It demands 100% while still maintaining work-life-family balance. This position can feel like boot camp. It is fast paced with ever changing priorities and trouble-shooting in order to grow the business, improve equipment and always to improve customer service.

After proven results, there will be opportunity to own multiple operations and increased ownership percentage which will require financial investment on your part for opening new locations. This is not a requirement but a career opportunity.

We do require all Managing Partners to be mechanically inclined, have management skill set, business mindset, high energy, hands-on leader, obsessed with delivering great customer service and love working outdoors.

How a managing partner spends his/her day

 They check equipment, chemicals, and inventory through extensive checklists that we have developed over the last 50 years. They review the previous day's financial and operating results and develop plans for the upcoming day with the goal of beating the previous day's results.

Fifteen minutes prior to the opening, they have a team meeting, reviewing outstanding issues from the previous day, set daily goals and reinforce the Russell Speeders company brand, vision and goals. They are responsible for having their Car Wash operating promptly on or before time every day. The managing partner will be part of the crew once the wash opens.

All of our Managing Partners have hands-on every day issues, taking care of customers and their cars. Throughout the day they train associates, go through checklists, have meetings with vendors and customers, oversee inventory management and purchase orders and are ultimately responsible for all profit/loss and recommendations for improvements to their location.

Tracking Sales and Labor are two factors that most dramatically affect the profitability of the car wash. Managing Partners monitor the sales process and labor levels throughout the day in order to achieve optimal results.

Managing Partners are 100% responsible for recruiting, hiring and training of labor with support from the management office. They manage facility and equipment maintenance throughout the day, including monitoring associate’s payroll and checklists. All must be operating at optimal level when a Managing Partner leaves for the day or anytime in their absence.

We work hard. Managing partners work five days a week, 50-55 hours and take vacations every year. 

We have high expectations of all our employees, regardless of position and our company success is due to our training program and grooming our employees for success while promoting based on performance and not seniority.


Part Ownership with business Stock earned through sweat equity as the business grows. No financial investment required.

Competitive Salary- $70,000/year Plus Profit Sharing (most Managing Partners earn over $ 125,000 a year)
